JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Latitude 30 currently provides 250 parking spots. That number will increase to 400 soon.
"We decided, based on customer demand and the traffic that has continued to increase over the last 18 months, we needed additional parking," Latitude 30's Philip Alia said.
Construction on the pre-fabricated garage started last week and will be completed next week. Finishing touches will wrap up in July.
"They literally bring it in in sections. The entire construction from about a week ago was nothing but a foundation and here in about a week, they'll already have the second deck built," he said.
Until then, Latitude 30 is making sure the customers are taken care of.
"We have complimentary valet all of our heavy volume days, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. We have parking across the street with a free shuttle that runs pretty much nonstop, plus there's parking all around the building."
