Man dies from gunshot wounds at ER, police search for answers

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- The Glynn County Police Department is searching for answers after a 40-year-old man died from gunshot wounds at the local emergency room.

Police say Peter Alston arrived at the Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead a short while later. Upon investigation, it was determined the shooting happened inside a vehicle in the 2200 block of Cate Street. Alston was shot more than once with an unknown caliber handgun.
