Man gets 5 years for lying on gun application
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- A man who tried to buy an AK-47 illegally will serve five years in prison.
Antwan Tyrone Cameron, 29, lied on the required paperwork at Shooters Firearms and Accessories of Jacksonville when he said he'd never been convicted of domestic violence.
He would have served even less time had he not tried to contact one of the trial jurors on Facebook, an obstruction of justice.
A federal jury found Cameron guilty on October 17, 2012.
