Man shot and killed after argument at San Jose apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was shot and killed Monday night after an argument at a San Jose area apartment complex.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was called out to the Radcliff Court Apartments, near Old Kings Road South not far from Baymeadows Road.

Police said a man in his 40's was found shot and lying in the road. He was taken to Shands Jacksonville where he was pronounced dead. According to police a suspect - a man in his 50's - is in custody.

Police tell Action News the victim and the suspect have known each other for awhile. No word yet on what the argument was about.

The suspect lives in the Radcliff Court Apartments.
