Man shot while driving car on the Southside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a man shot while driving his car on the Southside.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and is speaking with police now.

Officers responded to the Quality Inn, but say the shooting did not happen there and they are not sure of the location.

There is no information currently being released about the suspect in the shooting.
