MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A Middleburg couple was arrested on drug charges today after authorities were called to a residence about a suspicious fire.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office was called to 1787 Killarn Circle in Middleburg in reference to a suspicious fire in a bedroom of the home. When deputies arrived, Clay County Fire Rescue told them a meth lab was suspected to be the cause of the fire.

Joshua Alan Levo was taken to Orange Park Medical Center with burns on his hand.

A search warrant was obtained and items used for manufacturing meth were discovered. Officials later learned that a 10-year-old boy was in the home while meth was allegedly being made.

Levo and his wife, Alana Bliss Pons, were arrested.
