JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Can Anything Good Come Out of the Hood, a twist on the life of Jesus, debuts at Cambden County High School Saturday at 6 p.m.

The musical was written with nine original songs and some pre-recorded music by famous artists including Whitney Houston.

Gina Hall, who wrote the play, said she wants to send a message of hope. No matter what your 'hood' is--that is to say, whatever your personal issues--there is still power to overcome.

For ticket information, call 912-729-1923. Tickets can also be purchased at Cambden Pharmacy and ITT Ticket Office at the Kings Bay Naval Base. They are $20 advance and $25 at the door.
