JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Environmental Quality Division released its results from the noise survey it conducted at the Welcome to Rockville Concert.
The EQD was trying to determine how the noise from concerts at Metropolitan Park affect the surrounding community.

Noise levels in residential areas is limited to 60 decibels in the daytime and 55 decibels at nighttime.

Concert noise was measured at three locations in Metropolitan Park and nine locations in the surrounding community, including areas that have previously filed noise complaints. 

The report found that in the concert area of Metropolitan Park, noise registered between 106 and 114 decibels over the two-day concert.

In the surrounding community -- which was measured at homes located between 2,715 feet and 4,938 feet away -- noise from the concert registered between 47 and 70 decibels.
