Local pastor's son injured in airport hangar
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The son of a Jacksonville pastor is in the hospital after a horrible accident inside a local airplane hangar.
Ben Bowersox, the 5-year-old son of Steve Bowersox, the executive pastor at First Baptist Church, was hurt Tuesday night while playing near a retractable hangar door at a Westside field.
He suffered several broken bones in his arms and hands and severed four fingers.
He was flown to Duke University and has undergone several rounds of surgery.
