ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A Jacksonville woman has been arrested in connection with a car break-in that occurred at a St. Johns County Walgreens.
On January 10, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office was contacted by a person who had their car broken into at the Walgreens at 390 State Road 13 North. The victim told deputies that he went inside the store and when he came out, his laptop was missing from inside his car.
The investigation revealed that the suspect had been arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office for a similar burglary to a vehicle in the Mandarin area.
St. Johns County detectives arrested Kelly Ann Grennan, 23, after she bonded out of the Duval County Jail.
Detectives were able to track down the victim's stolen laptop at a Duval County pawn shop where Grennan received $150 for it. The computer was returned to the victim.
Grennan faces additional charges and the investigation continues.
