ST. CLOUD, Fla. -- A woman, who police said was driving drunk, drove into an active accident scene on US-192, almost hitting two officers Friday in Osceola County.
Investigators said they arrested Pamela Ann O'Neil, 39, on a DUI charge after she failed a field sobriety test.
The initial crash happened just before 7 a.m. in St. Cloud, when a 74-year-old man who was crossing the street was hit by a car.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said about two hours later, O'Neil drove through the crime scene tape, past the parked patrol cars and almost hit two officers.
O'Neil was taken to the Osceola County Jail.
