JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead behind the Coin Laundry on Beach Blvd. near Southside Blvd.
Sgt. Michael Paul says rescue was called to a report of a man with a head injury at approximately 10 p.m. When police arrived they found the man dead.
Police believe he was there on the ground for more than two hours.
Despite a busy restaurant just feet away, no witnesses have come forward, so no details have been released about his injury. They are also attempting to contact the person who originally called in the report.
