FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. -- A local pastor is under fire, accused of taping women undressing in the church.
Action News talked to one man who has known Pastor Greg Neal his whole life. He doesn't want his identity revealed. He tells Action News he was shocked when he found out the local pastor was accused of taping women while they were changing in the Berean Baptist Church.
According to police reports obtained by Action News, in 2001 Pastor Greg Neal recorded a tape of three women changing in a room at the church. The report claims in the recording, Neal is seen setting up the camera, hiding it and then coming back to it after the women left. The report claims the tape showed up when it was mixed in with tapes to review for basketball. The tapes were never turned over to police until this year.
People at the church refused to answer any questions about the allegations, kicking Action News off the property.
We've learned there had been rumors of the tapes for years, but the report claims victims were told by the church that it never happened.
Former members we talked with are speaking out now because they want people to know the truth. Action News did talk with one victim, but she says she's not ready to share her story yet.
