JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winds Wednesday morning were already in the teens in miles per hour. Expect a steady increase in those east-northeast winds for the rest of the week.

The sea breeze will be on the move each day...pushing morning coastal showers inland by afternoon. Only an isolated shower risk on this Wednesday; a better chance for the "showers-on-the-breeze" scenario on Thursday.

Have the umbrella...even this weekend...as the pattern persists. Although...the ocean winds will ease some on Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures will be slightly below average with the onshore winds advecting that cooler ocean air west. Highs mainly in the 70s. Some 80s inland.
