ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A local woman's purse was stolen as she was getting into her car on Christmas night.
A police officer was nearby and ran after the suspect, Eric Badie.
Two juveniles were also with Badie. They tried to tell police Badie was the one who actually took the purse.
Witnesses told police they saw one of the juveniles with Badie as he committed the robbery.
Badie was charged with Robbery, Resisting an Officer, and Violating his Probation.
The victim gave an account of the contents of her purse.
The contents were all located on the suspects, except for $50.00 in cash. All of her items except the cash were returned.
