ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Authorities in Clay County arrested a man and woman for stealing a TV from a Walmart.

The couple left behind something much more valuable which helped investigators track them down.

Clay County deputies say James Moorman and Jessica Roos drove to the Walmart on County Road 220 on Monday night.

Once inside the store, investigators say Roos and Moorman were spotted placing a TV in a cart. A security guard heard and saw the couple remove the anti-theft device.

Roos and Moorman passed the cash registers.  That's when the security guard stepped in to try to make the couple pay for the TV.

The couple took off.

Deputies reviewed security camera footage and spotted the car driven by Jessica Roos still in the parking lot.

The car was towed.

When Roos went to pick up her car, she ended up meeting with deputies.

Jessica Roos confessed to the incident.

James Moorman was arrested outside of the Walmart where he also confessed to the crime.

Both were taken to the Clay County Jail.
