JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- They've been waiting all year. "I asked him for DS Nintendo games and "The Little Mermaid" movie," said Grace Randall.

They cross out the days until Santa brings their favorite toy. "I want an American Girl doll named Julie," said four-year-old Bennett.

"It's all about when he is going to come to your house," said Lauren Randall.

And this Christmas, kids who want to track his every move can now do it from their fingertips. There's an app for that.
"I am just getting used to all the new electronics," said Sharon Francis.

Google, Apple and Andriod are just a few of the developers helping you watch Santa's progress on your smart phones.

"I had to listen for the bells, but now I can just look on my I-Phone. But it's the age we are living in, digital Santa," said Randall.

"Some times it's a little bit overload, but that's me," said Francis.

NORAD has been tracking Santa since 1955 and this year even they have an app. "I think it's great. My grand-kids are able to do it, and they love it," said Francis.

It's new technology changing a family tradition that helps capture the magic of Christmas every year.
