Traffic Alert: Congestion expected near the St. Augustine Outlets

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol is warning drivers of heavy traffic expected near the St. Augustine Outlet Malls. They say drivers should expect traffic congestion and slowing traffic approaching the outlet malls exit at State Road 16 along Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.

FHP is also asking drivers to use caution when approaching the area and to consider an alternate route. Police say the congestion is due to an increased volume of holiday shoppers in the area.

The St. Augustine Premium Outlets will be open Christmas Eve from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
