Tree falls on van sending driver to the hospital
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – One person was rushed to the hospital after a tree fell on a carpet cleaning van.
Police say the van was driving down South Main Street when the large oak tree came crashing down, crushing the roof and windshield.
Two people were in the van, one was taken to Shands at the University of Florida under a trauma alert.
The other person wasn’t hurt.
