JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As expected, Tropical Depression #4 strengthened to tropical storm status.

As the First Alert Weather Team first told you, this storm came off of West Africa earlier this week.

If Tropical Storm Dorian stays organized, it will head in the direction of the Lesser Antilles by late this weekend and early next week.

The First Alert Weather Team is tracking this system minute by minute.

Coverage you can count on will let you know how this will impact Northeast Florida as this storm continues to strengthen. Count on Jacksonville’s Most Accurate Forecast to bring you updates on the track as soon as we get them.
