Two Northside homes damaged in fire
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Two homes were damaged after a fire broke out on Perry Street this afternoon.
The fire began on a porch of a home in the 4500 block of Perry Street on the Northside at 4 p.m. A family of three escaped.
The flames spread to the house next door where a 77-year-old man escaped.
No injuries were reported.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating.
