JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two more officers with a Navy construction battalion have been relieved of duty.

Command Master Chief Pedro Villacorta, of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 14 and Command Master Chief William F. McCrae, of NMCB 23, have been relieved due to substandard performance of their duties as command master chief.

Villacorta is out due to mismanagement and major program deficiencies, according to the Navy. McCrae has been relieved because of mismanagement and major program deficiencies as well.

NMCB 14 is based in Jacksonville. NMCB 23 is based out of Virginia.

Earlier this week, the commanding officer of NMCB 14, Capt. Sean McDonell, was relieved of duty due to similar reasons.
