JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local woman was arrested, accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the state.

Investigators say Edna Lorraine Watkins, 34, stole more than $400,000 from Medicaid.

Watkins is the owner of Homecare Unlimited, LLC.

She faces up to 90 years in prison and $3,000 in fines.

She is accused of billing the agency for services that were never rendered, as well as filing false claims for people who aren't even eligible for Medicaid between January 2008 and June 2011. She is also accused of falsifying her application to become a Medicaid provider by concealing prior felony convictions and using a false social security number
