Woman loses control, slams into tree
COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Lake City woman is in serious condition after an early morning crash in Columbia County.
It happened just after 4:30 a.m. Friday on US 90 just west of Brown Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Alexis Cannon was lost control of her Chevy Blazer and veered off the roadway. They say she then slammed into a tree.
Cannon was taken to Shands UF and is listed in serious condition.
