Worker burned in face while painting stripes on County Road 210

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A man suffered severe burns to the face after a flash fire occurred from a propane tank on his work truck.

According to the St. Johns County Fire Rescue, a man was taken to a local hospital in a personal vehicle after receiving burns to his face.

The worker was preparing to paint lines on the road in the 1200 block of County Road 210 West when a flash fire occurred for unknown reasons.

There is no fire and there were no other injuries reported.
