JACKSNVILLE, Fla. -- A place where many people go to find work is changing scenery.
Worksource is moving its career center from Southpoint Parkway to the Winn-Dixie shopping plaza at Beach Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road.
The old location will close this Friday to move staff and equipment.
The new location at 11160 Beach Blvd., Suite 111, will be open for business on Wednesday, December 26.
The new site offers much more parking than the current Southpoint location, and JTA bus service stops at Beach Blvd. and St. Johns Bluff Road (K2 and R5 routes.) The site is also conveniently located just west of the 295 Beltway.
"We are pleased to be able to offer a great location to the people seeking jobs on the South side of Jacksonville", said Bruce Ferguson, CEO of WorkSource. "Our new facility provides more space to our customers, and increases our capacity to serve businesses. We anticipate a lot of traffic through the center."
The phone number will remain the same, (904) 997-3100. Worksource is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
