JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The annual one-mile Buddy Walk benefiting the National Down Syndrome Association kicks off this Saturday.
The walk and accompanying carnival is the largest fundraiser of the year for the association. The local chapter's goal is to raise $200,000.
Live music, carnival games, rock walls, bounce house and bungee trampolines are all part of the fun. It's a family friendly day at the beach for a great cause. The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacksonville Beach SeaWalk Pavilion.
