JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The sky will be lit up over the St. Johns tonight to ring in the new year.
The city doesn't have it in the budget to pay for fireworks so several organizations and businesses stepped up to make sure they still blast off, including Tourism Development Council, Visit Jacksonville, One Spark, Downtown Vision, Northeast Florida Hospitality Lodging Association, The Gator Bowl, and The Jacksonville Landing.
The fireworks will go off at midnight and can be seen from both the North and Southbanks.
