At the news station we like to call "Action News This Morning" meteorologist Tom Johnson "TJ Twinkle Toes" and Action News reporter/anchor Catherine Varnum "Sweet Feet Katie."
Well, not really. But we do want you to join them Friday at Whisky River when they both play Tom Cruise in "Cocktail" to raise money for the Jacksonville Children's Chorus. All of your tips will go to this worthy cause. Join us at the Action News Celebrity Bartending gig Friday at 8-10 p.m. at Whisky River.
Whatever you plan to do this weekend, make it a good one.
And remember, if you're bored in Jacksonville ... it's your own fault.

When I was a teenager growing up in Montana, several of my friends got to travel to a town in 150 miles away to see Pat Benatar. Decades later, I finally got to see her in concert. Even though she hasn't been on the charts for years, it was still worth it. Her songs are timeless. And I can't help but love a woman who gives her husband equal billing on the marquee. Bravo, sister. Bravo.
