From the first day I met him to the last night I saw him, J.T. Townsend never stopped amazing me. These are a few of my favorite J.T. moments.

First Encounter
I couldn't leave his side. He was so engaging, and I had a million questions. I asked him how he was able to stay so positive. He always thanked God, that was standard. But he also told me that he knew he would have never touched as many lives as he did if the accident had not happened. It was obvious he took his responsibility as a divine example very serious.

Infectious Smile
All I have to do is look at photos of him, and it still makes me grin.

Putt N' Crawl fundraiser
His putting green will go down for years as the best ever. Jax Beach pub crawl golfers looked forward to the hole designed after the 17th green at The Stadium Course of TPC. I mean, seriously? Who builds a putt-putt challenge from scratch surrounded by water. J.T.! That's who. He would spend the whole day greeting people and taking pictures.

Favorite Facebook Moment
Facebook only allows you to have 5,000 friends. Because of the people who follow the morning show, I maxed out. I hate that, but I got this sarcastic message from J.T.: So somebody is so popular that they can't have any more friend requests. LOL. The next day I went in and purged people so I could friend request HIM.

Local Celebrity
I love that everybody knew his name. If you were at a VIP event, chances were, so was he.

Our Last Kiss
Fancy Pants Party benefiting Blessings in a Backpack at The Players Championship. I was so busy hosting the Fancy Pants competition, I hadn't noticed he was there. His mother came up and said, "J.T. is here. He wants to say hi." My face immediately looked like a school girl who just found out she had won the Prom Queen title. I couldn't hear a lot of what he was trying to tell me. He wasn't able to project his voice and the music was loud. So I did what I always did from the first time we met, I stroked his arm repeatedly and told him over and over how much I adore him. Then I exited like I always had. I kissed him on the forehead and said, "I love you, my friend."

Amazing Grace
J.T. could not hug you physically, but emotionally, he gave the best hugs of all.
