"Fight for the Veterans" kicks off Saturday

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The 3rd Annual Fight for the Veterans is Saturday at the UNF arena.

Over 12 bouts of live action packed fights will include local celebrity from the hit series “Ax Men” Brad Taylor facing off with badman Zach Elkins in the main event to see who will become this years First Coast state champion.

All of the proceeds go towards the Veterans Farm and Work Vessels for Veterans. Veterans Farm's mission is to help disabled combat veterans reintegrate back into society through the use of horticulture therapy, while working together in a relaxed, open environment.

Veterans will work as a team to develop solutions that will enable them to overcome physical and mental barriers.

Tickets start at $20, but military with i.d. get in free.
