This weekend there is something for everyone.

And if you are so inclined, don't forget to vote for me in Dancing with the Stars (see link below) or buy a ticket to the show! It's this Saturday.

Get off the couch, friends. And remember, if you're bored in Jacksonville ... it's your own fault!

Jacksonville Home & Patio Show
Thursday - Sunday
Prime Osborn Convention Center
Adults $10, Children $5

I have three words for you … Honey Do List. I have two more words for you … Josh Flagg. The star from Bravo TV's hit show "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" is appearing at the Home & Patio Show Friday and Saturday. So if having an inventory of household chores isn't enough reason to make it downtown this weekend, finding out about real estate Hollywood style should be.

Pirate Party: "Pirates of the Caribbean"
Friday, 6-10 p.m.
Treaty Oak Park
FREE

Arrrrgh! I am all set for this event. I just got back from the Cedar Key Pirate Festival. Costume? Check! Food and entertainment? The city of Jacksonville has that covered! Bring your appetite, blanket and lawn chairs. Vendors will be on site and "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" will be on the big screen.

Dragon Boat Festival
Saturday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Jacksonville Landing
FREE

This is an event you do not want to miss. We are talking about as many as 50 dragon boats with 20 crew members, a drum and somebody shouting orders. What way could you possibly spend a better Saturday? The event is free to watch and there will be plenty of vendors and entertainment to keep you busy all day.

Engine 15 - Burrito Gallery Lot Party
Saturday, 2-6 p.m.
Burrito Gallery
FREE

Come hang out in the 'lot' for a great cause. Engine 15 and Burrito Gallery are teaming up to benefit CHILD Cancer Fund. Food trucks, Engine 15 beer (including the CHILD Cancer Fund dedicated Phil N' Thropic), a bike raffle and artists will be on property with all of the proceeds going to help children and their families through the challenges of childhood cancer.

Arf Barket at RAM
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Riverside Arts Market
FREE

According to Riverside Arts Market's website, this week is National Dog Week. And guess what? According to Google, it's true! So why not celebrate your furry, four-legged friend by attending Arf Barket at RAM. There will be a pet parade, a costume contest and splash pools (not for you, for Fido).

Dancing with the Stars
Saturday at 7 p.m.
Bolero's
Tickets: $50 - $250

I am competing in DWTS again this year to benefit the Beaches Fine Art Series. I am going to share a secret with you. I am practicing my booty off this week in preparation for Saturday's competition. I want to win so bad, but my routine is so complicated, this go amazingly awesome or horribly bad. Either way, you don't want to miss it. Buy your tickets today at FirstCoastDWTS.org. If you can't make it to the show, feel free to vote for me with your donated dollars at the same website.
