A cold start Thu. with temps. in the 30s inland, 40s at the beaches but a warming trend kicks in Thu. afternoon with highs near 70 degrees.  Highs will warm to near & even above 80 Fri. & Sat. with an increasing shot at much-needed rain later Sat.
