Hello from Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh in the First Alert Weather Center...
Low pressure over the Western Atlantic combined with high pressure moving into New England will combine to produce a "local" Nor'easter for the First Coast. Winds will be 20-30 mph with higher gusts -- out of the northeast -- at the beaches & 15-25 mph inland. This onshore flow will make for dangerous rip currents at area beaches. A few showers will spread inland off the Atlantic at times but amounts are likely to be light. Temps. will top out only in the upper 70s to low 80s from I-95 to the beaches to the low to mid 80s inland.
