Boy, 12, arrested for punching teacher in face
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Deputies in Clay County arrested a 12-year-old boy who punched a teacher in the face.
It happened last month during the lunch hour at Lake Asbury Junior High School.
Investigators say the teacher tried to separate the boy from two other students in the lunch line that he wasn't supposed to be with.
The boy turned around and punched the teacher in the face. She suffered swelling to her jaw.
The boy was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention center in Jacksonville.
