JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One child was taken to the hospital after a two-car accident Saturday in Mandarin.

Police blocked off the portion of Old St. Augustine Rd. at Hartley while they cleared the accident.

According to JSO, the driver of a Honda didn't yield while turning on to Hartley. The Honda smashed into a Ford Expedition with seven people inside, including three children.

All three children were bruised and one suffered a bloody nose. A two-year-old was rushed to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The family of the two-year-old say he is expected to recover fine. The family was traveling from North Carolina to visit family members in Jacksonville.
