ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. -- The autopsy report on Commissioner Tom Sublett shows he had his hands bound in front of him and a gun shot wound to the head.

Glynn County Coroner, Jimmy Durden, says the cause of death for Tom Sublett is drowning with a gunshot wound. The manner of death has yet to be determined.

Police found Sublett's body early Tuesday morning in the water at the St. Simons Island Boating & Fishing Club.

Visitation will be at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's followed by a reception at First United Methodist Church across the street.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark's or United Way of Glynn County.

"Family and friends deeply appreciate the prayerful concern of the community and all those who have walked with him through this tragedy," said the Rev. Alan Akridge of St. Mark's.
