JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of the survivors of a hit-and-run crash on 295 is telling her story of survival.

These three girls all grew up together and are best friends.

"I can't live without them," said Danielle General. But General may have to learn how to.

The three girls were on the way to work Sunday, when General says the driver of a red pickup truck just started throwing trash out the window on 295. "We were just hanging out, talking as usual, when I heard two things on the window, like pop, pop," said General.

Then came a third pop and General said the pickup truck cut them off.

"We just swerved two times and just flipped. I just held on, and said y'all hold on, and the car flipped," said General. "I just closed my eyes, when I opened them, Cherish was flipped over in the driver's seat," said General.

General said she crawled out of the car's window to get to her other friend Billanna Holley.

"I ran and held her and said it's going to be OK," said General.

General escaped with just bumps. Her friends are now in the hospital. Cherish Marrs is six months pregnant and in critical condition. Billanna Holley is on life suppport.

"My baby is brain dead," said Jacqueline Lee, Holley's mother.

Holley's mother doesn't know how to say goodbye. Even harder, she's not sure how she'll tell her granddaughter that mom isn't coming home. "This is her 1-year-old daughter who doesn't have a mother," said Lee.

Both families want closure and justice.

"We're going to get you. You can't hide," said Marrs' mother Shakina Persley.

Police are looking for a red pickup truck with front-end damage. The truck has dark tinted windows, and a decal on the back window reading "Salt Life." Police want anyone with information on this crash to call them.
