EMT worked two years without certification

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Action News has learned a now retired EMT with JFRD worked without state certification for two years.

In December, JFRD says EMT Antonio Porter told them the state hadn't received his information. JFRD says Porter passed the required test. Now they're working with the state to find out why the state wasn't aware.

JFRD is also looking into whether any repayments back to insurance companies need to be made.
