PALATKA, Fla.-- In just 48 hours, The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has arrested five people believed to be linked to several recent thefts and burglaries. Deputies say all of the burglaries occurred primarily in the Bostwick area.
Deputies say the five suspects, which include 4 men and 1 woman are l linked to numerous stolen items that were pawned at local pawn shops to include jewelry, tools and precious metals. Those arrested are Ryan Lewis, Kyleen Norberg, Travis Dey, Joshua Dey and Jason Kemp. All are being held on bond with the exception of Jason Kemp. Kemp is being held on no bond. He is also facing multiple additional felony charges that have been filed with the State Attorney's Office on other related cases.
Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy is crediting the hard work of the sheriff's office for the success of the arrests. "Thanks to the excellent work of property crimes detectives Lynn Nicely and Matt Griffin this particular ring of individuals are off the streets of Putnam County and will face their punishment in the criminal justice system."
