Flying soda can lands man in jail on road rage charges

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- A man from Green Cove Springs is in jail on road rage charges.

Deputies say Cody Smith, 21, threw a can of soda at a man and his family while driving down Blanding Boulevard. The family also told police Smith got out of his car and threatened them at a stop light.

Smith told investigators the family was tail-gating him. He's charged with throwing a missile into a vehicle.
