ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A man from St. Johns County was arrested on a charge of video voyeurism this afternoon.
Detectives arrested 36-year-old Jerry Lewis Hackney. The investigation began Wednesday after a 25-year old woman reported a suspicious incident that occurred at the World Gym on U.S. 1 South.
The victim told authorities an employee of the gym allegedly placed his cell phone in a closet to record people getting in and out of a tanning booth.
Detectives seized the suspect's phone and other evidence to determine if there are any additional victims. Additional charges are pending as this investigation continues.
