ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Investigators found a body in the search for Barbara Parchem in northern Flagler County.

A search team entered the woods near Flagler Estates on Tuesday morning to look for clues. Approximately an hour into the search, authorities found a body in a concealed and remote area.

Authorities say the manner in which the body was found makes them believe the case is a homicide.  The clothing on the victim also matches clothing Parchem was wearing when she disappeared.

The Medical Examiner will identify the body and determine a cause of death.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says it has a person of interest, but so far no arrests have been made.

Parchem, 67, was reported missing in early April when she failed to show up for work.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says it will work with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office for the investigation.
