JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are looking to identify a man who scammed a 69-year-old woman out of money and jewelry.

Police say the woman left Walmart on San Jose Boulevard a week ago Tuesday when a man approached her in the parking lot. The man told the woman he had a large sum of money and, if she made a collateral payment, she could get some of the money.

A female accomplice of the scam artist went with the woman to the bank where she withdrew the money. The woman gave the cash and jewelry to the woman who passed it along to the scam artist.

The man and the woman disappeared.

Police need your help identifying the man caught on surveillance video.

Call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS. You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
