JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a blue tandem stroller as part of its investigation into the kidnapping and murder of Cherish Perrywinkle.

Police are calling the stroller a key piece of evidence.

Cherish was found dead Saturday morning after being kidnapped from the Walmart store on Lem Turner Road the night before.

Sex offender Donald Smith is charged in her murder.

Police say Cherish's mother, Rayne Perrywinkle, put the stroller in Smith's van when the family left with him from the Dollar General.

JSO says there is no evidence, so far, the stroller made it inside Walmart.

Investigators believe the stroller was in the suspect's van at the time of the abduction just before 11 p.m. last Friday, June 21, and not in his van during his arrest on I-95 just after 9 a.m. the next morning.
