JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- More than 800 cats and dogs will be available for adoption this weekend in the largest pet adoption event ever in Jacksonville.
First Coast No More Homeless Pets, Jacksonville Humane Society, Animal Care & Protective Services and Best Friends Animal Society are coming together to find homes for these homeless furry friends.
Each pet will cost $25 and include spay or neuter, vaccines, city license and a micro-chip.
If you are in the military, your new pet is free.
The event is Friday-Sunday at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
