Local safety expert drowns in Mexico
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local gun safety expert died after he drowning in Mexico.
Andrew Wooten, president of the firearms safety training company "Safe" drowned Tuesday while swimming off the coast of Cozumel, Mexico.
Investigators say the 50-year-old got caught in a powerful rip current.
