Missing Nassau teen found dead in pond
FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a missing teen found dead in an area pond.
Police had been looking for 18-year-old Tyrone Baez since 5 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Baez's body was found in a pond at the Flora Parke Subdivision in Fernandina Beach early Saturday morning.
Police say the body has been transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Jacksonville for an autopsy.
No foul play is suspected in his death at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
