Tera is thrilled to be a part of the Action News Team and to be back where she belongs - in sunny Florida!
Tera was born and raised in DeLand. As a Gator grad... she started her career as an anchor and reporter at WCJB TV 20 in Gainesville. Greensboro, North Carolina was the next place she called home as a reporter for WGHP-FOX8. In 2006 she headed North again to the Windy city. Tera spent 4 years in Chicago at the FOX affiliate - WFLD - as an anchor and reporter. Tera covered major events in Chicago and all over the East Coast.... from riding out hurricanes to reporting live from our Nation's capitol for President Obama's inauguration. Tera has also worked as a fill-in correspondent for FOX News Channel.
In 2010 - Tera was honored with a Peabody award for reporting excellence.
Jacksonville is the final stop for Tera and her husband, Mike (her co-anchor). They are excited to live, work and raise their daughter in such a great city.
