Tree limb falls and kills man at Ortega home
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man is dead tonight after a tree limb fell on him.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said there was a tree cutting service working on trees and shrubs in the yard of a vacant home in the 4200 block of Ortega Forest Drive.
A 41-year-old serviceman was cutting down trees behind the home about 6 p.m. when he was hit in the head by a falling limb.
JSO is calling it an accidental death and no foul play is suspected.
